Each summer resident will agree that to deal with the thickets on the site manually using secateurs or clippers is a tedious and very long process. Therefore, in order to simplify the task as much as possible, you can make a home-made electric mower with a saw blade with a body of plastic pipes. With it, you can cut bushes and new shoots of trees that grow on the ground.
Step-by-step process for making PVC pipe electric mowers
For this homemade work you will need to cut plastic pipes, which remained, for example, after installing the water supply, a 12 V electric motor, a switch, a battery, a small saw blade, a cam chuck from the drill, as well as wires and fasteners: bolts, nuts, washers.
First of all, we connect two wires to the motor contacts (the connection points must be closed with a heat shrink tube), after which we insert the motor into the corner plastic outlet, in which small holes must first be drilled to cool it. We install a cam cartridge on the motor shaft.
We pass the wires into a long plastic pipe, and then connect it to the branch, in which the motor is installed. We cut a slot in the pipe for the installation of the switch - we connect it to the wiring and fix it to hot glue. We insert the battery into the pipe, and then close the hole with a plug.
