A home-made manual grip made from improvised materials is an ideal assistant when carrying doors (especially if you are working alone). The device itself is very practical to use, it is light in weight and compact in size.
It is also convenient to install doors using such a universal grip if you work without a partner. Thanks to the special design, this device can be used to solve various problems: for convenient carrying of entrance and interior doors, as well as moving other sheet materials (particleboard, plywood, OSB, etc.), which have overall dimensions.
Manufacturing process
For this "home" homemade product you will need a minimum of materials, namely three pieces of steel bar of circular cross section: two - 100 mm long and one - 150 mm, and two plates.
First of all, by welding we connect metal plates at an angle of 90 degrees. Next, we weld three pieces of round timber along the edges of a flat corner, fixing them in a vertical position.
Then, with the help of a grinder, we clean the surface of the workpiece well and cover it with a layer of paint (you can use a special spray can with paint or paint it with an ordinary brush - as you prefer).

Such a home-made capture is useful in a summer cottage, in a private house and even in an apartment (for example, when you need to independently hang the door on the hinges). For greater convenience, rubber tubes can be put on the handles.
