Making clamp for repair strut struts
The author suggests making a special device for replacing and repairing car struts on the basis of a screw jack, which will compress the spring. To reliably capture the part, you just need to slightly improve the jack - to make the upper and lower grips.
In this case, a Zhiguli jack is used, but the screw is a bit weak. But the Volgov jack will be better. Therefore, if there is such an opportunity, then use the Volgov jack for this homemade product.
The author welds one grip from the corner 35 * 35 mm, which is welded together with the profile, but the second is more powerful - from the channel.
The upper clamp is welded to the fixed body of the jack, and the lower to the movable slider. After that, it will remain to perform minor operations: cut, strip, weld, and the homemade product is ready.
