The main stages of work
The first step is to make a "nozzle" on the soldering iron, inside which the plastic strip will turn into a tube. The master makes it from the wire, which is screwed onto a screwdriver. And note that two screwdrivers of different diameters are used.
At the next stage, it is necessary to fix the "nozzle" of wire on the tip of the soldering iron. For this, the master uses two metal clamps.
Now the homemade product is completely ready, and you can begin to work. To do this, the soldering iron must be fixed in a bench vise.
