In this review, the author demonstrates an unusual solution for installing a sink in a bathroom, which saves up to 50% of water.
The solution itself is very simple - you just need to install a sink over the toilet. Then it will be necessary to connect flexible hoses, and also make a drain so that water is drawn into the tank through the sink.
The idea is that in the process of washing hands, water does not go into the sewer, but is typed into the toilet bowl.
First of all, we take out a float from the tank - we will need to insert a flexible water hose into it. To do this, the author drills a hole of the desired diameter in a plastic part.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, we install the fittings with the float back into the toilet bowl, and connect to the water supply hose.
Thus, the water through the float will not flow into the tank itself, but into the hose, which then connects to the sink faucet (mixer).
Previously, it will only be necessary to "plug" all the holes in the float with sealant.
At the last stage, it remains only to install the sink on top of the toilet bowl and install the mixer by connecting a flexible hose from the float to it.
For details on how to perform such an unusual installation of the sink with your own hands, see the video on the site.
