In this review, the author shows the process of making a home-made corner clamp, which is useful when gluing and assembling wooden boxes or large boxes.

For the manufacture of an angular clamp, you can use both plywood and wood. Even trimmed lumber remaining after the repair is suitable.

First of all, the author saws off two identical pieces of the board (one side on each workpiece must be cut at an angle of 45 degrees). We fasten them to a square blank.

Then it will be necessary to saw off a few more workpieces, and drill holes in them. Next, we take the extended nuts and hammer them into the holes in the two blanks.

We recommend reading: clamp-clamp for working with metal and wood blanks.

The main stages of work

The author inserts long bolts into two other blanks with holes. Then on a lathe he grinds two wooden handles.

We screw blanks with nuts onto the bolts, after which we put on wooden handles.

At the next stage, the two resulting clamps will need to be screwed onto the main part of the corner clamp made at the very beginning.

To securely fasten the handle, a hole must be drilled in the bolt. Then we drill a hole in the handle itself and fix it with a screw.
