The choice of fillers is so huge that it is difficult to navigate. There are expensive clumping, simple mineral and cheap fillers from pressed sawdust. Which one to choose is up to the animal owner. But all fillers are expected to absorb moisture well, completely absorb the smell and, most importantly, the animal will like it.
Dear cat litter not everyone can afford it. Coming, expensive products are not always liked by animals, and sometimes even dangerous for them. In veterinary medicine, there are many cases when small kittens ate a little of this filler, which led to serious complications and diseases of the digestive system.
Mineral fillers are cheap, but can not cope with the smell. Which makes them less in demand. Fillers from pressed sawdust do an excellent job of smell and moisture, but cats can easily spill them out of the tray when raking. In addition, sawdust stick to the legs, and it spreads throughout the apartment.
We offer a solution to this issue, which will significantly save on fillers, completely isolates the smell, and the tray can be changed no more than once a week. It is enough to remove solid fragments daily and that’s all!
Take pressed sawdust, which copes with odor and moisture so wonderfully and pour them on the bottom of the tray. Sawdust is needed very little, since when absorbed, they will significantly increase in size.
On top we put a grate with a mineral filler. It passes moisture through itself, and sawdust absorb it and neutralize it. In addition, the mineral filling is to the liking of all cats, it does not spread on the paws throughout the apartment, does not stick to the animal’s hair and it is apparently very pleasant to rake it.
The proposed method will save considerable money. Mistresses will not be horrified by the torn contents of a cat's toilet, and guests will never smell a bad smell.
So, if your kitty can’t get used to the toilet in any way, she may just not like its contents.
