Every housewife knows how difficult it is to clean the surface of the pan from carbon deposits, especially if he is more than one month old. There is a very effective way to restore the appearance of dishes with minimal physical effort. Moreover, the surfaces are not scratched at all; you can clean enameled surfaces.

What you need to have

Prepare a plastic bowl, its height should be equal to the height of the pan. You will need soda ash, a bar of laundry soap, Sanita-type anti-grease or any other dishwashing sponge and rubber gloves.

Cleaning technology

Pour 300-500 ml of hot water into the basin. Pour into it a little grated soap on a coarse grater (about 30-50 g.).

Add 100 gr. soda ash, stir the prepared mixture. If soda was stored in a damp room, then break up all the lumps with a spoon.

Pour four tablespoons of "anti-fat" into the prepared solution, it has active surface substances that perfectly release fat. Mix all components until completely dissolved.

Add boiling water to the basin. Its amount must be selected so that the pan completely fits into the water, but the solution does not pour over the edges. It’s easy to find out - subtract the pot capacity from the basin. The difference obtained is equal to the volume of water infused. Mix the solution again.

Fill the pot with boiling water and dip it into the basin. If the surface is not completely covered with the solution, then add water to it. In this position, leave the pan for 5-6 hours, if possible, let it get wet all night.
Remove the pan from the basin, if the soot has become soft, then the hard side of the dishwashing sponge, begin to clean the surface. Fat is not removed - you have to wait a few more hours.

Do not pour the entire mixture from the basin; let half the pan in it continue to be wetted during cleaning.

Try the dirtiest places, the old soot is washed off the hardest. Be sure to work in rubber gloves, the prepared solution is very corrosive to the skin.
Clean the surface of dirt and rinse well in running water. The dishes will be like new.

Conclusion

Never use metal brushes during cleaning, they will always leave traces on the surface, then it is very difficult to remove them later. It is better to increase the exposure time than to spoil the appearance of the dishes. This method can be used to clean carbon deposits from any dishes, and not just pots.
