We present to your attention a cactus, which will become a faithful assistant to the needlewoman, as well as excellent decoration of the interior or working area of the craftswoman.

And most importantly - this houseplant will not only always be evergreen and beautiful, but will not even require special efforts from you to create it. Usually, to get a gorgeous result, you first need to work hard. Yes, but not in this case. Set aside knitting needles, hook and needles in a strontium, as this needle bar is easy to make!
So, prepare the following:
• a small flower pot for "planting" a cactus;
• alabaster as a holding base;
• two sticks-skewers with a sharp end (or several toothpicks);
• a square piece of polystyrene (10x10 cm is enough);
• stationery knife;
• green felt or drape;
• Grass yarn and artificial flower for decoration.

Use a sharp knife to cut off the corners of the foam, making it look like an oval.

Any small scrap can also be used. Therefore, form from a small residue a more or less even oval, which will become a process of a cactus.

Now break the surface of the cactus into identical cells, outlining them with a ballpoint pen.

For the size and number of cells, create blanks of felt. Please note that you should embed them with a slight indent on all sides.

These green details should cover the cells, forming a solid cactus from individual fragments. To do this, make an incision on all outlined lines to tuck the edges of the fabric blanks into each of them.

Felt is easy to impact and fits tightly into the cut. And you can shove it with a nail file, a skewer, a toothpick, a knitting needle, in general, everything that has a pointed shape.

Place the finished cactus on a stick, which without obstacles penetrates inside.

In the same way, process another “baby” cactus, and then place it on one of the sides of the main plant.

Now fill the pot with diluted alabaster, immerse the cactus there and allow the liquid to solidify. At this time, prepare the "ground green" and the flower.

So quickly and easily we got a cute blooming cactus with colorful needles.
Beauty and benefit all rolled into one!
