Very soon, it is time for graduation parties in kindergarten, and, of course, every mother wants her princess to look beautiful and elegant. Of course, for each graduation gown or costume, the appropriate decoration and accessories for decorating hair are selected. Of course, you can buy something ready-made in stores, but imagine that you have a multi-colored outfit and you simply cannot find jewelry similar to the color scheme of your costume, but you want to dress your princess in and out. Here, the technique that is popular among modern needlewomen will help us very well, this is the kanzashi technique. Jewelry that is made using the kanzashi technique is always considered exclusive and original, since in it you independently combine colors and create the shape of the decoration. That's just thanks to this master class we will make a hair band that will complement the little girl’s dress at the graduation party very well.
For this we need the following:

Metal hair band pasted with a satin white ribbon;
The white satin ribbon is 5 cm wide and about 65 cm long;
Satin ribbon of pale pink color 4 cm wide and about 70 cm long;
Purple satin ribbon 4 cm wide and also about 70 cm long;
Shiny cabochons for the middle of the flowers, two blue and three pink;
Lighter;
Scissors;
Pencil and ruler;
Tweezers;
Needle with thread;
Glue gun.

So, we will have a three-color hoop, of five flowers, so let's start making flower petals. We take satin ribbons and cut squares from them. Of the white squares, we will have large petals, and of soft pink and purple, the middle petals. We cut 12 white squares measuring 5 by 5 cm, 16 soft pink squares measuring 4 * 4 cm and 16 purple squares also measuring 4 * 4 cm.

Now with a lighter, we burn the sides of each square so that the threads do not open. Let's start making a white petal. Take a square.

We fold it diagonally in half, we burn corners with a lighter to fasten. We bend one corner to the center, clamp with tweezers, now also the second corner to the center, clamp with tweezers and cauterize.

We turn the petal back, make a parallel cut, as well as a small cut to the side. We burn with a lighter on the side, and the back of the petal turns out to be double, as well, first we burn one cut, then also the other.

We straighten the petal.

Make the remaining 11 white petals. Also make 16 purple petals.

And exactly in the same sequence and 16 pale pink petals.

All the petals are ready, proceed to the assembly of flowers.

We will need more substrates, so we cut out for each flower in a circle 2.5 cm in diameter. Lighter we go along the edge of each circle. Now with a needle and thread we collect flowers, as in the photo. From the bottom with a glue gun we glue the substrates, in the center we glue the cabochons.
